Boombox Bros. DJs’ Craft
There is a true craft required in music selection and mixing it up live for a crowd. Boombox Bros. DJs perform using turntables or digital controllers such as Technic 1200s, CDJ 1000s, Numark’s NS7, or other controllers. It takes months of practice to understand how to mix two different songs together seamlessly to deliver music to an audience without awkwardly drawing attention. Music selection is also extremely important, and Boombox Bros. has developed a roster of musically intelligent DJs who have a strong understanding in when to play the perfect songs throughout the duration of your event.
Boombox Bros. DJs Sound Quality
There is a difference in sound quality as well. That is why Boombox Bros. has invested in quality equipment, such as our Bose L1 Model II pro audio sound system. Bose has the strongest reputation in sound quality, and that same quality is offered to our Clients with an incredible sound system. The Bose L1 is also low profile, so Boombox Bros. will not pollute your event with bulky and unsightly pro audio equipment, but still promises to deliver a full range of sound that you have come to expect from Bose.
Boombox Bros. Lighting
Boombox Bros. provides DJ lighting with all LED lighting fixtures and also has the capabilities to provide DMX programming. The beauty of LED lighting is the crisp colors and brilliant display. LED lighting is also highly energy efficient, which means less chance your event could possibly be interrupted by blown circuit breakers from drawing too much power. Also, the DMX programming allows Boombox Bros. to control the light fixtures for colors and display to create a true custom light show to match the event’s color theme and the activities during the event (for example, heavy strobe during upbeat dancing and songs).
Boombox Bros. Travel
Boombox Bros. is based in Corpus Christi, Texas. For performances outside of our service area, there is a $1.00/mile travel fee tacked on to events. Currently, our service area includes Corpus Christi, Gregory-Portland, Port Aransas, and Robstown.
Deposits and Contracts
Boombox Bros. requires a 50% deposit in order to secure a DJ for your event, along with a signed agreement. Final payments are due two weeks prior to the event date, payable with a personal or corporate check or money order.
